Baby Massage

I have designed and created a Baby Massage Video Course so that you and your baby can enjoy the huge benefits of baby massage in your own home, at time that suit you. Going to a face-to-face class is fantastic, but this can be in addition, or instead of that.

It costs just £20.

The video course is made up of of six videos; one explaining how to set up for baby massage, and then five going through different body areas and teaching you the massage strokes. It also includes a 20 page PDF containing all the information you need on how to set up, the benefits, and also photo descriptions of every massage move so that you have it to look back on.

The different areas covered in the videos are:

What you Need to Setup

Chest and Tummy massage

Legs and Feet massage

Arms and Hands massage

Back massage

Head and Face massage

The huge benefit of a video course is that you can complete it whenever you like, it doesn’t expire. This means you can choose when baby is ready and happy, and you your partner can also experience these lovely techniques. If something happens, you can pause the video and revisit when you’re ready.

Baby massage is a wonderful bonding experience for you and your little one; full of benefits and teaching you a skill for life.

What is baby massage?

Therapeutic massage has been used in Eastern cultures for thousands of years, and infant massage has been practiced by families in Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa and Latin America for centuries.

Vimala Schneider McClure founded the Association of Infant massage following her stay in India in the seventies, when she worked in an orphanage and was exposed to the daily practice of massaging, from the youngest to the oldest inhabitants.

Touch is such an important way to promote secure parent-child attachment, communicating love and respect. From my experience, babies love the massage and songs, and leave happy (and often ready for sleep!)

What are the benefits?

The benefits are (almost) endless, but here are a few key benefits for both baby and parent.

  1. It's an excellent way of connecting with your baby - a wonderful bonding experience for you both.

  2. It can help regulate and strengthen baby's digestive and respiratory systems, and stimulates the circulatory and nervous systems. Lots happen in a baby's body when being massaged!

  3. Tummy (and some back) massage can alleviate trapped wind, soothe colic and assist with constipation (get the spare nappies at the ready!)

  4. It gives parents a practical tool to help soothe their baby, empowering you with a life skill.

  5. It can improve quality of sleep - all round!

how much is the course?

The Video Course is £20, all in with nothing else to pay.
